It will enable the NSPCC to deliver age-appropriate workshops and assemblies to 100,000 children in primary schools across the UK and Channel Islands, helping 9-11 year olds understand abuse, how to protect themselves and where to get help if they need it.Santander’s charity of the year is voted on by its staff. Last year they took part in fundraising activities that included ‘Total Wipeout’ physical challenges, climbing Snowdon in the dark, cycling across Spain, parachuting, and tower running.Staff also attended ChildLine Schools Service assemblies to see first-hand how the money raised will help to protect children and prevent abuse before it starts.Cakes baked for NSPCC fundraising by Santander staff About Howard Lake Howard Lake is a digital fundraising entrepreneur.
