According to the Chair Person, the last sixteen summits have been outstanding successes and have had speakers of eminence, including President Pranab Mukherjee, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Barack Obama, President George Bush, Dalai Lama, David Cameron and Gordon Brown. It is mentioned in the letter that this year’s summit is the landmark edition of the Singapore Chapter and the effort is to bring together leaders from Asia discuss and ideate a road map ahead for the region and shed light on the rising role of “Asia in the New Global Context”, which is the theme for this year.
