A gas leak in the building at Pachamama House in Darlinghurst has triggered an occupational health and safety hazard, causing a 72-hour closure of the venue. “Unfortunately due to this unforeseen incident, we have had to postpone Wicked Wednesdays to a future date, later in the month of August,” GTI Tourism account executive Manuela Nielsen said. Wicked Wednesdays is held every month in different cities around Australia and attracts between 100-300 industry guests across the travel and hospitality sector, offering a unique networking opportunity. Due to an unforeseen incident at the organised venue, popular industry evening Wicked Wednesdays has been postponed until later this month. Unforeseen incident causes industry event to be rescheduled. “We are consulting with venue management to organise a new date and will inform our registered guests and attendees by email as soon as possible.” Source = ETB News: P.T.
